I find alot of people talk about God coming through for them, blessing them all which he can do but I feel enduring and preserving isn't talked about nearly enough.

How do you endure, not get mad or blame God when you don't get what you want or even need? How do you keep a good heart posture in the face of suffering whether it be death, scorn, poverty, abuse...

Can we talk about it?

Regard sharing in Christ's suffering to be a privilege - of knowing Him. Being thankful in all circumstances utterly destroys the efforts of the enemy against us.

The benefit of enduring suffering:

Romans 8:17

"Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."

Love for Jesus motivates us to obey Him, which results in joy, and joy in bearing fruit for His Kingdom. It IS possible to suffer and rejoice simultaneously. Jesus did.

And here is how and why we will endure:

God bless!

We must talk about it. So often we pray for deliverance from sufferings It is natural. Even Jesus did it.
But he ultimately accepted it with courage and requires us to do it as well.

Just by being faithful to God. Persevere in prayer. Offering up your sufferings. And by remembering that as you carry your cross in life, Jesus is indeed carrying you!

God bless

Hello,

First of all, I hope that you know that "death, scorn, poverty, abuse..." are not from God. All those things are from the devil. And "he has nothing in Me", said Jesus.
Him, "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3)
Not the one you make when you scratch yourself on the bitumen, but the one of the soul. I don't know if you already heard what Jesus did for the woman of Samaria, to whom Jesus gave water, not the one she was looking for at the well, but "another" water, His.
"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14)

God is a Spirit, and everything He does is related to Heaven, to His Kingdom, His justice.

If you're interested, I can give you a wonderful document on what Jesus did for this woman. Not only for her, but also for all the village where she lived. You can find it right under my message. I'm sure it will answer to a lot of your question. Feel free to write to me if you have any question, or if anything is unclear. Here, or send me a mail : hgbttrln@gmail.com

I have one rule, to start > don't blame God about my suffering.

And I know God is able to take care of me during suffering. So, in case I ever suffer very greatly, already I am praying for God to have me able to go through it the way He wants.

When I get in problems, I might offer to God that He knows if it is a punishment or not. And I offer to Him how He can correct me however He knows He wants. And pray and take care of it, as well as I get guided by God.

Pray simply for what He wants to have me do.

And if something gets the better of me, to me this means I need deep correction so I do better.

Paul in God's grace could suffer like he did, but take "pleasure" in his troubles > see verse 10 in 2 Corinthians 12:7-15.

Now, yes there are ones who are suffering a lot, and this is because they have lived mainly for themselves, plus have ignored good advice for how not to get into trouble.

And ones in selfish loving have gotten hurt and their selfish nature makes them weak so they are sure to suffer, after trying to use somebody for selfish pleasure and security. And ones they do love can be idols for them, so they suffer much more when things happen to their love idols and love possessions which they do not trust to God but can try to isolate for themselves.

And God is able to use any suffering for His good, though a selfish sufferer is not likely to benefit well from how God uses hard things. Jesus so suffered, and look at all the good which has come from this.

Without Jesus, how would things be, now??

Right. I wish more people talked about it bc when tests and trials come and people only know the prosperity God it may trigger anger, resentment or cause people to fall from faith..

That's right. And here's further inspiration to endure. This is the Man Who walks with us, and has already borne more than we ever will - for us. And Jesus bares us still.

Keep walking! God bless!

Isaiah 53:3-5 NIV

"He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all."

If you can get filled with the Holy spirit, he can comfort you and guide, even if you are suffering a lot. He is the comforter and helper says the bible.
Also reminding the promises of God helps a lot, when you start doubting you can find comfort in them.
Such as, "i am your God, that takes you from your right hand, and tells to you, don't fear i help you"

I remember that God gave everything for me, a sinner, through His Son on the cross. That's how I know He loves me and has my best interest in His heart. Even when He says no, I know it's for my good. Romans 5 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Remember, whatever you suffer, Christ suffered it too. Tell Him about your suffering, He understands you better than you think.

Jesus says,

"if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me."

This is in Luke 9:23.

The sacrifice is not only the suffering, but very important is denying ourselves *so we can love*. And on the cross Jesus was loving and forgiving any and all people, even praying forgiveness to the ones still hating and torturing and murdering Jesus who is God's own Son. Jesus prayed,

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." (in Luke 23:34)

So, all our loving is included in our cross. And as we get near and dear to more and more other children of God, we adopt their problems and their nicer things. So, we need to grow in God's love so we are able to bear the pains and deaths of all the people we will be caring for tenderly. And when our special ones do die and move away, then is when we can find whoever is next for us to love.

13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
14For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. (Romans 4)

Paul wrote to the romans, saying that If there is anger, it is due to the law, which force the man, accuse him, condemn him, and where there is no faith. While Abraham inherit the Promise only because of faith. "He believed in the Lord, and he counted it to him for righteousness.

However, the Lord, Him, propose to bear the sinner, "as a man doth bear his son". For the son, there is nothing to do. He is just being borne by an Other, which lead him on the right path and towards everything good for him. His father made him a promise, and he believed in him.

So following the war in Burma or Myanmar in a youtube documentary, to give some background info first, the military polictical party (the Junta) lost the election by large margin, the Junta couped the election, did want to accept their election loss, the genZ in Myanmar are against that the military couped the election, so they decided to fight back in a war, they joined a rebel group soldier army, the war is still going on, it has already 3 years. A few genz said why they joined to fight back in the war, it is for freedom democracy, even if they lost genZ comrades in the war and give up life of comfort, one genZ soldier rebel said, he lost his hand in the war, and the journalist asked him if he regretted his choice to fight , he said "no ! sometimes you have to make choice and stick to your choice". That kinda inspired me, we have chosen to follow Christ, so we should stick to our choice, no matter how hard life gets, I know it is sometimes easier said than done, but somehow we got to stick to our choice, sticking to our choice means even if life gets tough we dont think bad things about God and blame God and get grumpy against God or something. Thing is, we know there will be a heaven afte this life, in the end we will win.

I am trying to find that part of the interview, don't know exactly where the interview is, there are a view interviews in youtube.
