How to be filled with the Holy Spirit?
How can I really "feel" that the Holy Spirit is with me?
By miracles?

It isn't feeling; it's believing the Word of God.

1 John 1
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1 John 2
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

1 John 3
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Matt 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Peter obviously have been inspired by Almighty God Yahwe in heaven but He has not received the Holy Spirit yet, because Jesus told them to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit baptism.

Acts 1:4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you hv acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God and have been baptized with water, it doesnt necessarily means you have already received the Holy Spirit.

Example : Paul confers the gift of the Holy Spirit to the BELIEVERS of Christ after they have received water baptism.
Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and THEY SPOKE IN TONGUES and prophesied.

Peter and John placed their hands to BELIEVERS WHO HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED so they may rcvd the Holy Spirit.
16 For the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT BAPTIZE THEM THEY SPOKE IN TONGUE
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE THE HEAVENLY INHERITANCE FROM ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWE !
Ep 1:14 The Spirit is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession.

Matt 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you".

HOW COULD WE SURVIVE OUR FAITH WITHOUT THE COMFORTER ?
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The wise virgins with oil/HOLY SPIRIT ANNOINTMENT shall be taken to the Feast of the Lamb (rapture), the foolish virgins shall be left behind.

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

So, the Holy Spirit in us shares God's own love with us "in our hearts". This is not just a feeling. We grow in this. And God's love in us effects our nature so we become more and more like Jesus > 1 John 4:17-18.

No brother Paul said that he was glad that he did not baptise all because they were arguing for exactly that which you stated look below .

14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

You get Holy Spirit when you answer call from God . He first call you and give you faith so you can believe and then you respond to that call or don't respond .
People can be saved in desert areas aswell :cool1:

But the Bible does have examples that the disciples can only chase out demons, perform miracles by the power of Holy Spirit.
Can we ask the Holy Spirit to enable us to do so today?
To perform divine healing?
The Holy Spirit is the power of God to do these miracles....when someone performs a miracle of healing they are simply the vessel through which the Holy Spirit manifest His power through....it is not of ourselves....we are to simply just be obedient to move when He says to.

Can I seek to be always used by God thru Holy Spirit to perform miracles and divine healing?
Paul said in Corinthians to desire the best gifts...pray for them to be manifested through you.....you can and should always seek to be used by God...and be willing and obedient to be His vessel to operate through...we are to be instant in season and in word at any moment to minister to the needs of others....the beautiful thing about miracles and divine healing is that it not only heals and delivers them of their infirmities but it also increases their faith to believe God for anything...for nothing is impossible for God and for those who have the faith to believe.

How to be filled with the Holy Spirit?
How can I really "feel" that the Holy Spirit is with me?
By miracles?
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:13-14
Can I seek to be always used by God thru Holy Spirit to perform miracles and divine healing?
For that you need to seek the Lord with all your heart through much prayer and fasting. Most of us fail in that area.

And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

As a truly saved believer, allowed the permanently indwelling God the Holy Spirit to control your life .

There is no second blessing.

Ephesians 5:18
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

Under the control of.....

Colossians 1:9
For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

Some said that when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will feel like having a lot of energy in your body, true?

yes, and you want to do good and do things for God all the time. you don't want to do bad things because you know God is hovering over you. But you feel safe when He does this. Till He changes your in spirit. the Holy Spirit keeps you from dying. It's in books of Paul. I just can't remember which one. I'm bad at remembering things.

What I learned when you are going through the change in spirit. Listening to music gives you peace. And when you sing in worship. God might go though you like wind. Like when I listened to Plumb the singer she's my hero.

I love her. I don't mean to shove her in your face. But all your broken pieces can lead you to God too. I chased after Him. Because my brain has as a mental illness. When it got worst Jesus, Or the Father, Healed me with the Holy Spirit. Because I believed, that he will save me and break my old self. Because I wanted it for some reason. I just got tired of the old me.

Only Jesus can fill you with the Holy Spirit, no matter what formula you follow, only God can give it to you. Bible says you need to pray for all things, so you can pray about it. But always pray for the Glory or God. Sometimes we tend to pray for the Holy Spirit because we want to have it or show it off.

One time I went and prayed for my friend's nana, my goal was to get some kind of conversion from the nana who was on the point of dying, so the doctors said. So I was focused on the nana. But I got to the hospital and she was sleeping. So I prayed with my friend. Her family were around but not listening. Couple days after, the grandma was actually feeling better and was out of hospital. After that, I sensed that my visit was not actually totally for the benefit of the grandma (for a miraculous conversion) but for the benefit of my friend and the whole family so they could see the power of God and His Glory. After a couple months her family kept on thanking me for the prayer and were saying that the nana was still alive. Couple months after i think the grandma eventually died but they still remember the prayer that delayed her death.

I think you can test the fruits of your work and the above experience does reflect that. Despite what I thought I was doing, God still worked out His purposes for His Glory. I remember clearly that my ideas were immensely different from God's, the work of His Holy Spirit was obvious. I wasn't doing anything, He was.

Also, before I decided to go for the visit I was wondering if I should really do it but this thought kept coming to my head "If God wants you to go and pray, He will go before you and prepare it for you" which He did, I was illiteracy surprised that my friend and her family would want me to pray. I don't think they have any kind of religion or strong beliefs.

Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Might also pay to do some research on Sanctification.
