CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Things won't always go our way. We have to be sure that we are praying according to God's will and He will answer our prayers accordingly.
I was actually studying about that this morning in my devotionals and it was about fervent prayer and the study Scriptures were from 1 Kings 18:41-46 where Elijah prays fervently for rain and from James 5:16-18. It's something I've been aware of for so long, but it really transformed how I thought about prayer and gave me new insight to the importance of being persevering in prayer.
So, be sure to pray according to God's will and to pray fervently and God will be faithful to answer.

pray with the mindset that you u do not Know why things are not going the way ypu planned but knowing with ffull confidence that God's plans are always better and for the best. in one word., pray with FAITH (confidence in God)
it would help too to remind yourself of all the good that God has given in the past. GRATITUDE is one antidote for hopelessness. simply thank God, you never know how He will surprise you.
and lastly, pray with OPTIMISM. even if things seen hopeless, you have to be optimistic, because its one way of exercising faith. its saying that the outcome will be for the better.

How should I pray? Pray according to the Word of God. If we pray the promises of God then we have the full assurance that what we're asking for will come to pass. Because let God be true and every man a liar.
