  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I agree. As my pastor says, there are some 80 different ways to date the earth; all give a young age, with the exception of just a handful.

I gather your pastor doesn't have credentials in Earth Science. There are not 80 different ways to date the Earth. Only the long half-life isotopes can do that. Nevertheless, there are probably some 80 or more dating methods that can date the earth well past 6,000 years.

Scientists accept only that handful, and reject the other 70+.
No, re-read what I just posted above.

Indeed -- only God knows the age of the earth.
I respectfully acknowledge your opinion.

Again though -- any method that doesn't give scientists what they are looking for is rejected; in my opinion.
Only young earth creationists do that, and that's not just my opinion, it's fact and I can give specific examples.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UKI3lKts9QThe models are direct contrast to actual weather balloon data collected, in particular the data collected over the equator.

Have you ever considered sourcing websites that actually "do" climate science? You know the people who are actually practicing climate scientists.

Global warming includes the entire planet, not just the equator.
