How about God creating an earth what we actually see with a very long evolved history?
Too bad God gave her eyes and “free-will” (that she was apparently not “allowed” to use).Empiricism is what got Eve into trouble.
Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw ...
Yes sorry I had it the opposite. It is not. It is based on the actual cosmological model that fits the data. It's also not 370,000 year of inflation. It is 370,000 years of Big Bang expansion *AFTER* inflation ends.
It would not fit the cosmological model and the data.
Pure speculation.
First tell me what dark energy is. If it is a "vacuum energy", then no, that is not possible.

That's OK.Yes sorry I had it the opposite.
Either way
I haven't read about data on the cosmic inflation and how its known to be a period of 370,000.
There are ways of peering back before recombination, but not using photons. Primordial gravitational waves, relic neutrinos. The raw data isn't going to do you any good without the understanding of the cosmological models and the instrumentation.Mostly it's completely unknown from what ive read. You got a link to the data I can view.
James Webb is the most advanced has it measured data beyond the end of the inflation into the period between?
The simplest model for dark energy is a constant ensity of "vacuum" energy. There are a few hints otherwise, but nothing solid yet. That's one of the mystery of dark energy. The force it has on normal matter is unknown rather its a vacuum or a new gravity that is stronger then the gravity that physical matter produces. Learning more about dark energy and matter will eventually require new physics understandings.
There's not many instruments mostly optical radio and spectro scopes. I certainly would read some more info on other instruments able to peer back before recombination. That's OK.
OK (but it is 370,000 years after the start of the Big Bang expansion to recombination, not 370,000 years of inflation.)

So far JWST has seen galaxies back to about 300-500 million years after the Big Bang, well after recombination. The CMB shows us that the universe was quite smooth at 370,000 years old (1 part in 100,000 fluctuations, as I recall). It takes time for gravity to grow those small fluctuations into structure and stars to form.

God always gives us a choice between life and death.
But all that geological evidence of a young Earth is hard to deny. The age geology gives us is really beyond our imagination. It is almost like mystery still. Billions of years, would could that even be like when our own span is about 70 years? I can see why someone might opt to believe in 6,000 years. It is graspable. But then God is beyond our grasp.
Sorry, there is NO geological evidence of a young Earth. It just doesn't exist. But all that geological evidence of a young Earth is hard to deny.
Just look at the experiment going on at Spirit Lake.
So coal formation and rock stratification are nothing.Sorry, there is NO geological evidence of a young Earth. It just doesn't exist.
Spirit Lake is a feature of volcanic eruption activity. Though fairly young as Cascade Volcano's go of 40,000 years, Mt. St Helens is still way older than 6000 years. Below is a pretty good article from a Christian web site showing that Mt. St. Helens teaches us almost nothing about Noah's flood. Living in the Portland area, my than soon to be wife and I watched the eruption. It was pretty amazing.
What does Mt St Helens teach us about Noah’s flood? Almost nothing.
If you read What does Mt St Helens teach us about Noah’s flood? Almost nothing. , you will find that it explains why the stratification of the pyroclastic flow deposits at Mt. St. Helens and the floating trees of Spirit Lake are not evidence for flood geology. The article does not say that the stratification and the floating trees are not geologically significant. So coal formation and rock stratification are nothing.
I differ in opinion.
Staff Edit
Good grief! I need a vacation. Bowing out of this thread especially.Did you “mean” to quote your own post?
Having reason the link I still have to disagree with your assessment. If you read What does Mt St Helens teach us about Noah’s flood? I read the link and there were many mentions that make my points valid.
The author does not seem to like it but the events happening at MSH do back the biblical theory of geological formation.

You have yet to provided any geological evidence of a young Earth. But all that geological evidence of a young Earth is hard to deny.
The debris found in Spirit Lake is evidence of a volcanic eruption that happened 43 years ago. That's all that is seen there these days. If we look deeper we see that the lake itself came into being about 4000 years ago as a result of previous eruptions.Just look at the experiment going on at Spirit Lake.
