"Belief / faith" is for things like God that cannot be
disproved.

There's no data to work with.

Auto mechanics, though, you can disprove phony
ideas.
Test them.
Will it run longer and better with no oil?
Will tires show no wear after 100,000 km?
If there's no wear the tire was not used.
No faith needed, no silly beliefs will affect the data.

" flood" is the same. It's a physical thing.

If there's no sign of flood, we'll, like with tire, it didn't
happen.

Polar ice has been there for over 100 000 years.

Flood would have floatrd it away.

But there it is.

( I've seen your boilerplate cut n paste prstts about
legends, and science changing tomorrow at least ten
thousand times. Spare me)

The cosmic microwave background is everywhere there's nothing about it that indicates a time frame. The hypothesis is that it formed because of a theory that there was a big bang and that hasn't been proven. It's one of a few theories of the beginning of the universe. Man has not gazed that far back yet.

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
“Who is this who obscures My counsel
by words without knowledge?

The late Henry Morris points out that God asks Job some seventy questions, with every one of them dealing with creation.

God takes His creation seriously.

How are they exploiting by believing God's Word is Truth ????
That is not what they are doing.

Their thing is to misrepresent, distort, and
lie about science.

It is actually impossible to dispute science as an
intellectually honest creationist. *

I'm not disputing the truth of the bible, as
nobody really knows what its saying.

Using pseudoscience and lies as AiG does,
though is reprehensible.

They are slick enough about it that they succeed
in deceiving those who are too trusting, and,
not scientifically literate.

Whatever your faith is, those people are not your friends.

A Dr. K Wise yec paleontologist:

".....even if all the data in the universe turns against
yec. I will still be yec as that is what the Bible seems to indicate."

Do you see the problem?

"Is anything too difficult for the Lord?”
Genesis 18:14 BSB

"For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Luke 1:37 ESV
So everything that we can imagine and a bunch of stuff our brains are too small to imagine, God can “do”?
How nice for God!
So we don’t have to try and explain anything, because God.

Have you been to the AiG web site and seen how much stuff they are selling? Besides the very well stocked store, there are promoted events, media packets, kids section, education and out right donations request.

Yes.
Unfortunately for religionists, the more we “learn” about the universe, the “smaller” God gets.

Forgot inspired by God

No, I've heard that claim.
Including that the claimant (always) has
True inspiration. Un.ike all them others.

If they didn't all get "inspired" to
different answers, I might think it
makes sense.
It's all " lo here", and. " lo there",
nicely showing this " inspiration" is
very problematic, at best.

How is God being dishonest by creating things with the appearance of age?
“Let us* create time; let us* create ‘the heavens and the earth’, but let’s make it ‘old’ like it has been here for a very long time, but it will have been brand spanking new, so that when the creatures (that we* will also create), become wise they can see that the ‘heavens and the earth’ are far older than they actually are! That’ll give them something to commit chronocide on!” [God laughs]

God created this universe in a series of miracles over a six-day period that raised the level of mass/energy from zero to what it is now.

No science involved.

Even the order of His creation violates all known laws of physics.
Wouldn’t have “the laws of physics” come later after things were “made”?

If you were to examine the historical evidence, you would find that many great floods have happened all over the world and throughout human history; in fact, floods are probably the commonest of natural disasters. However, all of them were local events, and they happened at different times.

The fact is that we need water to live, and therefore human settlements have grown up around sources of fresh water, such as lakes and the flood plains of rivers. The disadvantage of these sites is that they are apt to flood when there is heavy rain or when the snow melts in the local mountains. We all know how stories of extraordinary events grow in the telling, and the same is true of natural disasters such as floods.

As for 'flood geology', that is, the belief that all the sedimentary rocks, with their fossils, from the Precambrian to the Holocene, were deposited by a single catastrophic flood, there is no evidence for it. If you care to read geology books, or to look at rock outcrops, you will find that all the evidence shows that sedimentary rocks were deposited at different times and in different environments, everywhere from the deep ocean to river deltas and deserts. As a specific point, for thick sedimentary sequences to be deposited on the sea floor, there must have been exposed land to be eroded, so the mere existence of such sedimentary sequence shows that there was never a time when the whole Earth was covered by water.

I'll gladly break that mold.

Science can take a hike.

There's my intellectually honest disputation.

Of course, you have me on IGNORE.

So you think you're getting away with those kinds of remarks.

But you're just making yourself look bad.

Do you see the problem?

For you I do.

He's being honest.
