I think the older you get, the less the frequency. My desire: (at least) 1x/day. The reality: 1x per week or two.

since having new convictions(we're not married), i try to avoid sex.

I wanted to encourage you to stay true to your new convictions of avoiding sex outside of marriage. Sex before marriage can ruin your relationship.

If not every day, ever other day. We're still newlyweds, I guess, and have no kids yet so we do it a lot. Thank goodness too. We went almost three days without, and I felt like I'd go crazy. I could have it almost any time of day, every day.

We've slowed down as we've aged and our children have gotten older lol can't sneak around as much as we use to. Probably averages out to once every other week now. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less. Just depends on what is going on in life at the time.

We have learned that when I'm ovulating, I instigate it more lol

When we first got married it was about every other day. Then it became once a week, then once every 2 weeks, then once a month. Now it's once every month and a half. We've been married almost 16 years. My wife seems to be ok with this arrangement but I'm not. I was hoping my urges would slow down too but they haven't. I still need it at least every other day and it gets very frustrating. I get tired of the constant rejection.

not nearly enough in my book, but that is how it goes.. and i can only see it getting worse as time goes.. no matter what i do or we do..

once per month will drive me totally batty.... depression sets in, sadness and all manner of thoughts..

"easier on him if he has another day to look forward to" hmmm i would have to say he would be happy with this.. cause if he wasnt i bet he wouldnt get any. you control it, rather than being totally mutaul, it will cause problems..
