Because he will refuse to connect the dots the way they are taught to be connected?

The only way creationists have to "refute" evolution is with misrepresentation or outright falsehoods.
I have the Bible to refute it.

But no data, no science, no reasoning, no logic, no empiric evidence, no scientific papers.
Would you recognize all that stuff, if you saw it?

Under what category does the list above needs to be classified?
Data? Science? Reasoning? Logic? Empiric evidence? Scientific papers?
Edit, in post #542 you pretended that the bible refuted all evidence. Where is the bible in your list? Dropped it silently and hoping no one would notice?

I never claimed to be a young-earth creationist. People often overlook the fact that Genesis itself doesn't say the Earth is only 6000 years old; there's not enough detail for anyone to judge, the belief in a 6000 year old Earth actually coming from a certain Bishop Ussher during the 17th century. YEC isn't Biblical.

If the earth is older than 6000 years, it's because God embedded that age into it.

The earth may indeed be millions or billions of years old, but it has only been in existence since 4004 BC.

PGP is making an academic statement.

One that would prevent him from looking bad in a worldly classroom.

In effect, he's being "true to his school."

Didn't say you were, nor have you self identified.

Care to do so?

So no data, no empirical evidence, no logic, no reasoning, no scientific papers. Nothing that is relevant to refute the ToE and nothing that you would "try me" about as per posts 543, 544, 545.
I can't say you failed. You just didn't even start to try.

...have ever read a science textbook? I'm curious.

(I don' t refer to "Darwin's Black Box" or Chick tracts, I am talking about books with titles like "An Introduction to Physics" or "General Biology". )

I should expect that if creationists actually believed what they say they believe, they would be avid readers of scientific textbooks, because they would expect to find evidence there for supernatural creation. The fact that creationists apparently do not read these textbooks suggests that they know that the evidence is against them.

Or maybe they believe the Creation Events were a series of miracles that didn't generate any evidence?

I personally believe the Creation Events were a series of miracles that raised the amount of mass/energy in the universe from zero to its current level today; done over a six-day period of time in 4004 BC.

That's just evidence of Christianity, not evidence of the Bible being right.
