Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Anyone find any information on how many liberals have left the country?
Lots of Lib-stars said they would leave.
Did any of them move?
Or still planning to go?

They wouldn't lie,would they?

Just leave a note if you need help packing.
Kind of busy in January though.

I am still here, Never planned on moving, Was not a Bush supporter, but hey wasn't a Clinton Supporter either, but he did great for our ecomony, so Bush may surprise me and actually become a good leader, I always welcome pleasent surprises. Who knows
he might turn an about face and end up as good of a President as Nixon, Clinton, or Reagan, doubtful, but there is still hope. ANyway if he wasn't president, Leno, Letterman, and Saturday Night Live wouldn't be near as funny as they are now, He diffently leaves us all alot of thing to laugh about.

Greatest country in the world, so I'm not leaving, ever. This stuff goes in cycles. I am patient.
Will be interesting to see the choices for President.

I don't see anyone really leaping out on either side. More then likely Gephart
Clinton, and many other repeat offenders, I mean repeat...Runners. Sorry I slip every once in a while.

Not repeat offenders on my side...er- runners. Ones I could hold interest in..but have ruled it out-C Powell, C.Rice, JC WATTS. All good speakers and good core beliefs. But all have said they are not interested.

Back to OP:

But most of the people that threatened to leave were famous stars.

So my offer to help them move still goes.

They said the same thing four years ago and they're still here. I don't expect any of them to leave. They'll just stick around and whine for the next four years.

Sad but true. I'm still waiting for the people that said they would leave four years ago to leave. Kinda shows never to take a liberal at his word. :p

Of course, you may remember that there was no shortage of whining by republicans during the 8 years of Clinton's presidency. But when you get right down to it, people will attack whoever happens to be in the White House, republican or democrat.

Personally, this is one (mostly) liberal guy who would love to see Colin Powell as President.

Hmmm, nice broad generalization. Because SOME liberals (and a small minority of them) threatened to leave if Bush was re-elected, and they didn't, you think ALL liberals are liars?

Okay, let's keep that generalization going in different contexts and see what we end up with.

I know some Republicans who are members of the KKK. Since some Republicans are racist, I guess it just shows that ALL Republicans are racists.

There is a church that is located in my town that is a white supremacist church. Ergo, since some Christians are white supremacists, ALL Christians must be white supremacists.

Thanks for clearing that up! ;)

These would be my first three choices, but like I said, They all said no.

Of Course people do change their minds.

NO doubt McCain will run. But he can't win nomination.(he's the third rail)
Popular enough to poison anyones nomination but not strong enough to
secure the nomination.
