I have four, so far:

Aryanna (Anna), who will be 6 in March.
Aoghdan ("Aden"), who will be 5 In January.
Seamus, who will be 2 in April.
Hamish, who will be 3 months on December 22.

We plan to have at least two more, hopefully girls for an even split. And since we are talking about nicknames, I generally refer to my kids as "Oldest Child," "Youngest Child," "Oldest Son," etc. When I want all of them, I just call out "Small children!" :D

I also love to tell my kids, "You are my favorite Aryanna (Aoghdan/Seamus/Hamish) in the whole world!"

I already posted in here a while back about our own children. We have five but I figured I'd get some good discussion going again by bringing up my siblings here. I'm the youngest of 16. Anybody else on here come from a big er huge family ? There were 8 boys and 8 girls in my family and no twins. My mother is still going strong and loves the Lord. By the way my wife comes from a small family of 12 and No before anyone asks....We're not catholic either.

My husband and I are blessed with four awesome children. 2 boys and 2 girls in an alternating order.

My oldest is 12 - August 11

My second one is 10 - Febraury 4

My third is 6 - April 11

...and the baby is 4 - January 27

Its a lot of laundry and a lot of hugs and kisses, a lot of worry and a lot of pride. After its all done, its all worth it!

We have 3. The oldest is a girl, who will be 18 March 1st. The next is my son who is 16, and our youngest is 9. We are going through teen hell with the 2 oldest right now. I just pray God gets us through this phase. There is no comfort in knowing we will have to go through all this again in a few years when our yougest becomes a teen. As it is she is very willfull, stubborn, and full of attitude. :prayer:

We have been absolutely blessed with 6 children. 2 biological and 4 through adoption. 3 girls and 3 boys. What a blessing they all are. Jamie is 14, J.J. is 12, Jeremiah is 5, Jasmine is 4, Jessica is 4 and Joshua is 8 months. We'd love to have more but only through the grace of God because through adoption in this state; the max for a family is 6. But God can do all things so we'll just go by His plans.
Have a wonderful Jesus filled day and may God richly bless you all.

I'm the youngest of 16.

May God bless your mother ;) I'm sure she feels blessed already. I love to hear of large families. My daughter claims she wants 23. I told her to go for 26 and name one after each letter of the alphabet. She hasn't agreed to that yet :D

We have been blessed with two daughters and a son:

Jessica - Turned 23 on May 17
Shannan - Turned 21 on May 20
Joshua - Turned 12 on August 2

My wife and I have 3, 2 boys (much easier to raise) and 1 beautiful daughter (the apple of her daddy's eye):
As for boys being easier to raise than girls...
Well, I guess it's all in the perspective. For me it is the other way around. Could be because I understand where the girls were/are coming from. At times, I don't have a clue as to what is going on in Joshua's mind. That's when I go to my husband who then tries to clue me in. ;)

It seems that each have their own set of joys, situations, and problems to go through.

God Bless!!
Dawn
Shining brightly for Jesus
