So far, I've not been encouraged to be here as some of the responses have been innocuous drivel with no content. You won't see me hanging around to receive accusations without evidence.

I know it isn't easy, trust me, it is a constant battle to prevent oneself from falling into bad debate habits while on here. I've lost that fight a few times myself, but it never ends well.

Oh, about negative responses you see directed at "dad"; he has a reputation for being particularly... difficult. On the level of basically acting as if evidence for evolution, old earth, etc. is impossible to have, not because the earth is young or evolution isn't valid (although, he is YEC), but because of an "altered state past" he has no evidence for.

On scientific topics, it is nigh impossible to have a productive debate with him. Not that it means that he deserves to be insulted, because he doesn't, but note that there are reasons some of people on here aren't patient with him. People should make an effort to be more civil in the debates here, but there are plenty on both sides that don't make it easy. You must not have had many debates with him where you were on opposite sides.

Wrong again. You have clearly not been following along. dad earned that ridicule. That had nothing to do with his being wrong. You keep using logical fallacies incorrectly.

He is not a moderator. There was no rule breaking. He was simply wrong. The ridicule again was a bonus.

Finding someone's error and pointing it out is sort of the opposite. What I have done with dad, if you were to follow along would be "You have been wrong, therefore you are ridiculous", the opposite of your appeal to ridicule error.

Might be more tactful about calling "dad" out on his errors though. To be more professional, if nothing else. I get really tired of these threads degrading into "what is and isn't an insult" type topics. It is so easy to avoid.

I would disagree, there were several threads where he was spamming me with this nonsense so I spammed him back. On one he let it die. On one he kept spamming with false charges. But on a third he started to respond to the actual discussion. Not in a sensible manner, but at least he was responding.

And Muslims use the exact same evidence the Christians use... they just interpret it differently.

Therefore interpretation of creation is of no value to them, or to science. Only to those who know the Creator.

That is false. There is a stack of evidence for biblical creation. When you reject the biblical evidence, that does not mean the evidence does not exist. It means you are not open to the evidence provided.

I don't intend to play your kind of games. Don't expect a response from me when you give me non-evidence and claim that evidence does not exist. I didn't come down in the last evidential shower.

Can you share links to some from that 'stack of evidence for biblical creation' then? I haven't seen any yet that aren't from creation blogs / sites that have zero credibility. People have posted bible verses but it doesn't prove their idea of creation at all.

Yes dad, we know that you cannot rationally discuss scripture. And you do not even seem to understand what "God's word" would be. When you are done blaspheming and can think rationally I can help you with your inability to understand the Bible.

Perhaps I will give you another freebie. You already know that it is wrong to worship the Bible, especially the flaw of worshiping one translation over another. The writers of the Bible never spoke English and there will always be some errors in translation. To make up for past errors the Bible is corrected now and then. For example the latest translations of Isaiah 7 14 correctly have dropped the word "virgin" and replaced it with either "maiden" or "young woman". There was no prediction of a "virgin birth" and the evidence grows that the nativity stories were written so it would appear that a prophecy was fulfilled.

So you are saying that this place is for Christians that do not believe Scripture? That is probably your problem. You don't believe the book that your beliefs are based upon. We all know that you have problems but I did not think that that was one of them.

I see that you are still repenting. So what freebie do you want to discuss next? How about the Tyre prophecy again? Do you remember how badly you were defeated in that? You were reduced to stating that my prophecy that you would see a red car is of the same accuracy as that prophecy.

How was that skewed and stunted? That was one of your worst fails here to date. The prophesy failed on at least four different levels and yet you still tired to defend it in vain.
