Yep they hit all the traditional and trivia of Luthanism and not really all the meat.

Of Course they have to make allowances for all the different "synods" within Lutheranism

I haven't taken the test...from what I've read from you guys, this isn't really about what Lutherans believe concerning the Bible and isn't accurate of how Lutheran one is

I got a 100% (ain't bad for a brand new convert - as yet not Confirmed), but I admit I made several lucky guesses - especially about those hymnals! But I think it was fun.

Well, you might be Lutheran, but there's more to learn. You have room for growth in understanding Lutheran terminology and culture. Hopefully you have a better knowledge of the Bible itself. Suprising to me- people keep telling me I'm a bad Lutheran, so I think I did pretty well considering. Who knows the names of the hymnals anyways? We always just called ours "red" "green" and "blue"...

I had to guess on the ELS & ELCA hymnals, but the rest I knew. I didn't want to have this user name and not be 100%!

I just hope no one here got question 35 wrong...

I got 71% and I'm a cradle Catholic. My wife, a cradle Lutheran, LCMC, got 76%. Neither of us know much about non LCMC. I did not recognize, at first, the initials of the insurance question, and had to kick myself as of course it is Trivent. We both knew Luther was German, but did not know where in Germany he was born or died. ( My wife did, of course, miss the questions about Luther's being born of an ever virgin and thought his parents were Mary (Maria) and Joseph (not) ) . We did not find the answers to the questions. Are they there somewhere?

I've been Lutheran since birth, and I got a 53%. I didn't know that being Lutheran meant I had to memorize a bunch of names and dates... I thought it was a faith and belief thing. Silly me
