The LCMS also exists, but there are only a small handful of LCMS churches. We have the LCC (Lutheran Church-Canada) and the ELCIC (similar to the ELCA; in Canada) as the two main groups. The LCC, which I'm technically a member of (since I never forfeited my membership) split from the LCMS because of regional differences. They remain in full fellowship. I assume that it's the same between the ELCA and the ELCIC. Still, I haven't even heard of those smaller Lutheran groups that were in the quiz, nor have I had to go over the history of the Lutheran churches in America before. Why would I?
Why do I not doubt that?
