How long have you played piano?

I've been playing almost 14 years. It's just a hobby but I've always wanted to play at church or in a band. I'm self taught but I sometimes wish I had formal training. Maybe I would be able to sight-read faster or pick out songs by ear more easily.

The piano is my favorite instrument, but I would also love to learn guitar. I think it's cool to play an instrument you can actually carry around. The drums would be cool to play too.

I have played piano for around 18 years and it was my emphasis in college. I also play the guitar. I attempt to play...the drums and violin. Just teaching myself now.

I have played piano/keyboard for 15 yrs. now. I have also played a variety of other instruments including French Horn, ukelele, and harp (not just a girl's instrument).

I've been playing for about 20 years now. Unfortunately, there have been large breaks interspersed in that time, so I feel like I'm having to relearn everything. I will be good at this before I move onto my next instrument, which I'm thinking may be the alto sax or violin. Any suggestions on either of those?

Also, if it's been a few years, does it feel like anyone else is having to relearn a lot, or is it just me? I found myself reading the sheet music and feeling almost lost, when it's the same sheet music I've read for years.
