My life was saved in July of 2000 when I met my wife and my soul was saved one year later when I prayed with her father, days before our wedding  .

I look forward to all of my time in these forums, learning and sharing (mostly learning though). My in-laws say to approach my faith like a child, and like a child I thirst for understanding. My faith is like a rock but I struggle with living it. I am still bruised and battered after battling with the great deceiver. Fortunately for me I have a great deal of hope that the Holy Spirit, when the time is right, will burn inside of me.

Obviously I'm a newbie here, can someone tell me where I could find some Christian gif's and graphics. Some of the avatars I've seen here are too cool. Gotta get me one!

Please pray for me.  Thank You.

Praise the Lord, I finally excepted His perfect gift of salvation a little over 2 years ago. I was 42.
It still amazes me that the Lord waited all this time for me, and protected me even when I didn't know or care about who He is.

Thank you Lord.

I was about 4 or 5 years old when I accepted Jesus into my heart.

I spent a lot of time with my grandparents who were Penticostals. I'm sure it was their prayers that got me through.

Even though my parents took us to church regularly we did not have a christian home life. My mom was very abusive and violent. I clung to Jesus with everything I had in me.

I've made a few really bad choices but I've never backslid. I thank God daily for His hand in my life.

To think that someone so grand as God, could be so gracious and desiring to be with us . . .it overwhelms me. . .in a good way. I just love talking about Jesus. :pink:
