It was 1976 and I was 6 years old. After a brilliant flash of lightning and a loud peal of thunder my life of sin just rolled away! OK, I am exagerating.....

But honestly, I am thankful I was so young. I believe Jesus kept me out of a lot of trouble.

Growing up my parents would take us to church maybe once a month(Catholic) but I was not saved until later in my life.

I can remember saying the sinners prayer when I was maybe 13 or so, and have said it many times since. However recently(maybe over the last year or so) I am just now starting to FEEL saved.

It is just over a year or so that I have really started to take my salvation seriously.

I can NOW say I am saved.

I was 12, 18 October 1980.

My mom had just got out of the occult a month or two before, primarily due to one of our neighbour's. They were two of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. They were not into the hi pressure evagelism routine, they were just friends who would visit, always had this open invitation to join them in church. I'm sure that it's through there prayers and ease of answering questions, that led us to salvation.

I wonder sometimes, if it had not been for Joyce and Barkley, what path would my life have taken.

I know this is kind of a long answer, but the question got me to thinking.

I was saved when I was 10 (July 25, 1993 to be exact)...but I fell away really bad in high school, and didn't even consider myself a Christian anymore, even though I still went to church and youth group and everything...

Last year (during my senior year), I started going to a Bible study (my brother dragged me kicking and screaming...not quite, but close!), and everything we learned just all of a sudden clicked...it all started to seem real to me again.

I rededicated my life to Christ last July 5th.

That is beautiful. My favorite kind of evangelism.
God Bless you.
