Many English translations of the Bible, specifically the Old Testament use the word Jehovah, which is the phonetic rendering of the Hebrew tetragrammaton, JHWH (sometimes also transliterated as Jahweh). It cannot be translated, so it has been frequently transliterated as Jehovah. Other translations use the word LORD in it place, although it becomes confusing because there is a perfectly adequate Hebrew word which is also translated as Lord. I prefer Jehovah because it indicates to me where JHWH actually is used.

In any event, Jehovah was around a long time before the JW's absconded with that name.

I love the names of God. As explained above by bbbbbbb we see His names being used.
Have you done a study on the names? It is a wonderful study.

A saint is one whom has been called and chosen of God with Christ rightousness and one of their own. This is why I asked why you have sins to atone for. Christ died for your sins and when one is in Him they are a new creation.
