Weren't women considered property back in the first century? Yes, I believe so.
Didn't Paul touch on a pro-slavery issue? Yes, I do believe so.

As unlike some Muslim countries and first century patriarchy, women in the USA have equal rights, they are not considered property. And too, slavery was abolished. Both issues were supported in first century patriarchy and even found in the Holy Bible, oh my.

Hello!! Welcome to the twenty-first century! Women are just as qualified, are just as 'called' to become pastor's, ministers, bishops and popes.

So because of post modernism God's truth should change. Sorry, women can't be pastors in my denomination.

Isn't that biblical too, to own slaves?
If your denomination doesn't support slavery then they must have reconsidered what the passages say.

btw...I in no way would support a church that is sexist, for that is what it is. For many denominations have made concessions, reinterpreted scripture, on just two issues (slavery, property) I brought forward but can't find it in their mind to give women equal standing. Sexism
