How far off is Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox unification?

I have heard that there have been talks but I haven't heard how close unification really is (or isn't)

Theologically-I've heard that if you really dig deep into the Chalcedon issue, they are pretty opposing, but it oft seems the consensus that it is not so far off.
