uh, yeah, i said the studies they did about evolution. and there's been plenty of well respected scientists that have rejected evolution. and there's Colin Patterson who, after spending over twenty years working to prove evolution, realised he "didn't know one thing about it." not to mention mathmeticians calculating the odds of evolution happening to be pactically zero. but tell me, what's one solid proof of evolution. after all these years they haven't found any missing links. and besides, evolution defies: the law of biogenesis, the first law of thermodynamics, the second law of thermodynamics, the laws of mathematics, the laws of logic, and the laws of heredity. SO WHAT IS YOUR PROOF OF EVOLUTION?

Well, there is the missing links you say don't exist and the mathematical models that show that it works and the fact it fits into what we know about the laws of physics.

The fact that you think otherwise is somewhat interesting. Where did you get all these ideas from?

I aways find it troubling when Christians say things like "evolution is not a fact it's a theory" or "science doesn't actually prove anything". I'm not going to go into what wrong with these statements because this isn't the debate forum but I do want to know how these statements originated. So my question is how does your faith affect your view of science?
Personally, it was a Human Evolution class in college that first opened me to the possibility of intelligent design.

Over time, the more educated I have become in the fields of physics, astronomy, biology and botany, the more I believe in a power greater than myself, more than just intelligent design but what I am not sure.

My point is that the more educated I become in fields which traditionally hold religion and intelligent design in scorn, the more proof I have of a designer of this existence.

Personally, my faith strengthens my belief in science, but t is important to realize that not all Christians view things the same way...some believe in evolution as a part of God's plan...others do not.

I do not think that men evolved from apes in the traditional sense....I believe mankind was planted here so to speak, app 8,000-10,000 years ago...Adam and Eve app 6000 years ago.

but I do think that what God made the flesh body out of was of the same elements that He made the apes/pigs/rabbits/cows etc. from. That explains the DNA traits common to all life on earth.

but the earth is billions of years old.

true science and true scripture lines up perfectly. I know of no contradiction except by those who do not know the facts....

unfortunately, ask 5 Christians the same question, get 5 different answers...lol.

anything else (specifics)...just ask.

in His service
