Yeah the Bible does seem to give alot of examples on prayer, that are out loud, but If you remember the parable of the man in the corner and the Pharisee, that God could not stand the pharisee's prayer, because of the pride issue, but God loved hearing the man in the corner's prayer, because of the humility...God doesn't care if you pray out loud, or quietly, as long as you do it humbly.Most of the examples in the Bible or prayer are aloud, so I am reasoning that is the preferred way to pray. I don't think scripture condemns silent prayer either, but one should never neglect to pray aloud often. As for myself, I do both.
