How do you live?

Some of the housing developments here have those types of mail kiosks, as well. My neighborhood just happens to have individual mailboxes. Our HOA (homeowners association) states in the bylaws that our mailboxes have to be black. I was just touching up the paint b/c the post and the box were both faded and weathered and I like things to look shiny and new.

I live with my children and a dog, bunny and fish. I own my home.

I love being a homeowner. It's fun to decorate and fix things up the way I want them. I like doing little repair jobs around the house, too.

I don't mind doing the little repair things either, like painting and stuff. But I miss having a man around the house for some of the bigger repair jobs that have crept up.

During the school year I live in a dorm at my university, I am an R.A. so I have 40 lovely residents to spend time with. We are one big happy family

Currently I live alone with an apartment full of boxes. I am moving home at the end of the month and to live with the 'rents for a couple weeks and then heading over to Michigan where I'll have a roommate.

Presently living in a SMALL cabin on a ship. When I'm "home" I usually rent a room in a motel by the week-not ideal but easy to bail from if need be.

Leasing a condo. Right now, I prefer to live downtown next to work, entertainment, restaurants etc. and everything is close verses owning a house in the suburbs.

I'm currently living with my parents at the moment, though I'll be going back to dorm living in August. Of course, I feel like some people see it as a stigma to live with one's parents for whatever reason. I feel like I'm blessed to have parents who're willing to give me room and board as long as I do chores and pay some rent until I'm able to live on my own. Not everyone is out and living on their own fresh out of high school or in their mid-20's. I'm 26 and last semester was my first time ever to live away from my folks, so I got some experience in living on my own and it's a step in the right direction to independence.
