Thank you everyone. I'm going to try hard to fight this battle.
The battle is not yours to fight; it is the Lord's.

Yes we can participate in it thru prayer and standing on HIS word, but He fights the fight.

That said, do not pray alone. Get together as many good believers as you can muster, pray together, bind the spirits of witchcraft (Matthew 12:29, Mark 3:27) in the Name of Jesus. Then leave the rest in HIS hands.

Hello all!

I had a past dealing with the occult for many years which I have finally seen that it is a true deception by the enemy. Not only have I realized it is a deception but I have made it my goal to deliver other family members from it by preaching to them in hopes they would repent and change. I have already started doing so. Over the past two years I have been under spiritual attack that is getting stronger and stronger and I believe is from witchcraft from some people I am no longer friends with. I am constantly plagued with demonic nightmares, feel depressed, having weird sicknesses, car accident, incredible confusion and my cat recently died. Before my repentence last year I thought the only way to fight witchcraft is with witchcraft but I have learned that it only makes the situation much worst. Since then I have started going to bible study and learning about Christ and now the attacks are even worst! As a new Christian and a repented Christian I do not know what to do. The church I go to just tell me to continue studying the bible and praying but I still feel so lost. I pray all the time for protection and I still feel guilty as though God has written me off for good. The attacks are so strong and unbearable at times.
How can I effectively defeat this and live a new life of Christ? Why am I still experiencing demonic nightmares, weird accidents, and pains?

Fight the Occult with a closed fist. Go crack some skulls. Better them than you.

PS: Sorry to hear about your cat.

Hey I can relate.

Can i urge you to fast and pray . Fast for as long as you feel to, it is crucial that you spend this time in intimacy with the Lord. There are some incredible books out there on fasting.

Fasting itself "Lifts your prayers up upon the wings of eagles!" I testify to this! The bonds of Witchcraft would have absolutely no choice but to loose themselves, and then you command them to "Go!" and command the spirit of witchcraft at your own digression in the name of Yeshua. Initimacy with God = Prayer, fasting, scripture study , prayer in tongues (the devil cannot understand these prayers) and importantly : Together time with other people of faith in Christ.

Remember religion and personal relationship with God are not exactly the same. Religion is man setting rules of conduct, but relationship is truth in repentance and fellowship with other people in the name of Christ (This is true church!) 'church' could gather anywhere! At a bus stop, in your home, in a park. But dont forsake the church congragation you have settled in already, you need them and they , or someone visiting may need you.

YAHbless you .

I think bad things happen for a reason. When it comes to all the suffering in my life, I feel it served a purpose to draw me closer to God. For the longest time the suffering has persisted and has seems unbearable at times. But recently I reached a new understanding that gives me peace of mind in the midst of all the struggles. Peace that is from God through Christ. I feel joy in knowing that God chose me to be his servant and I feel joy in asking for his strength everyday to overcome this mountain that stands before me.

With these experiences you are going through, its time to truly surrender to Christ. God hasn't written you off for good but instead is calling out to you.

I don't know why these things keep happening to you but be sure to read the bible everyday so that you will increase in knowledge and understanding. There is so much to learn, including how to properly deal with the circumstances you find yourself in.

Be sure to also pray everyday. Draw close to God and never stray too far away. In the past when I've dealt with demonic forces, I've always prayed and had faith that after each prayer, I knew God was with me.

After each prayer allow yourself to have peace of mind in knowing that God will take care of you and everything will be okay.
