I've got mixed feelings about the war, but I will remind you that it is not all President Bush's fault that we have troops committed. He has his cabinet chairs that advise him on important decisions when it comes to foreign policy. By the way our government is set up, if a President commits troops to ANY conflict, he must notify congress within a certain time period. Also, Congress is who declares a war, not the president. Congress calls the shots...not the President. If congress wished it so, they could pull every single last troop from Iraq. They could also declare war on Iraq, since we've only had 5 of those, and Iraq, nor desert storm, nor Korea were one of them. We are a government by the people, for the people, and if you have a problem with the decisions made, don't put all of the blame...although some of it should rightfully be...on the president.
