How do you adjust your PC to fit a LCD widescreen?

I want my PC to fill my 32" LCD widescreen.

Right now the image is stretched. It's not bad looking, but I would prefer a nonstretched image, and the ability to see the whole page instead of scrolling left and right because the page doesn't fit the screen.

How do I do this?

Some video cards don't support widescreen, but do this to see if yours does:

Right click on your desktop and click Properties. Go to the Settings tab. Slide the resolution arrow up or down until you find an aspect ratio that fits your screen. I can't think of which might work off the top of my head, but you should see the sample image above the slider get become a longer rectangle. Click apply when you think you've found a good setting and see if it helps.
