I haven't any need to determine tlhe age of things and I know of no objective way to do so. Whereas, the evolutionist hasn't any choice but to beg and borrow as much time as possible.

Earth was determined to be very old before Darwin published his theory. The evidence points to an old age... no begging is required.

Can you tell me about archeology without writting anything down and posting it? Archeology btw was first used to show that the Bible was true. For example, people use to think that the story of Jericho was a myth. Then using archeology they discovered it was not only a real city, east of Jerusalem, is just so happens to be the oldest city known to exist. The Bible gives us some of the history of this city and tells us a little bit about it.

And archeology has yielded strong evidence that Jericho suffered major destruction from an earthquake, and the Israelites were the same people as the Jerichoans, not different 'tribes'. Gotta love that archeology.

Being a mediteranean archaeologist, I strongly believe in the use of dating. Thanks to the ancient Egyptians, dating had become reasonably reliable. We did it without using Darwin even, simply because we were great.

Archaeologists unfortunately now use scientific methods for dating as well. Dendrochronology and even carbon dating have raised their ugly heads.

How much more beautifull was it when we looked at a pottery fragment and could determin it's age. Now we suddenly have become evolutionists in the process and there was nothing we could do to prevent it. We even used these techniques to determine when the walls of Jericho collapsed (round about the Santorini eruption iIrc). How deep we've fallen.

What was written 6000 years ago?

Written records and thus written language began around 6000 years ago. It was the beginning of civilization. The beginning of farming and the beginning of hurding. The first recorded history were basicly little maps showing a persons land. Then they had inventory lists showing how much food they had produced. It just all progressed from there.

Adam was the first "husband" and even today the term husbandary is used for breeding animals.
