How do Lutherans view Jehovah Witnesses?

Does the second amendment have to do with religion? I was under the impression that it has to do with guns.

He was mistaken.

I was already starting to get slightly annoyed that they were standing in my breezeway arguing their point that they weren't soliciting as they weren't selling anything

Tossing out an amendment, and the wrong one at that, was icing on the cake. Especially when it's an amendment I'm rather fond of

The JW's also have their own translation of the bible too. Oddly enough for some reason I do not know, I ended up with a copy and have one on my bookshelf at home.

I never read it and don't know why I have it.

My guess is that perhaps our friends in the past who where JW's gave the bible to my brother (their kids where playmates of his) and he took it home and at some point it ended up among my stuff by the time I moved out.

Unfortunately that's how he and the rest of my family (as in my parents and him) treat's the bible period. Including the good translations.

I think most Lutherans view Jehovah's Witnesses through the peephole when they ring the doorbell.

This made me laugh bigtime.

I could not find it on line, but years ago Monty Python did a sketch entitled Jehovah's Burglars. They were unarmed as I recall.
