A bit of advice on this. Read about Paul's struggle in Romans chapter seven. " The good that I would do, I do not, but the evil that I don't want to do, that I find myself doing." This is a struggle that we all find ourselves in at times.newlite said:"I sin purposely, but at the same time..I don't want to. Does that make sense? It's like almost overwhelming sometimes, but yet I know I could turn away from it if I asked God to help me. I don't know what to do."
it makes all to much sence....![]()
Have you learned the passage, 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and )God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it."? What this passage says is that if we are having a problem in an area of our life that we can't control, and we pray for God to deliver us from this temptation, the way God does it is by allowing this temptation to come repeatedly until we see the way to avoidit that He has already provided. You need to pray for God's wisdom to help you see the "the way of escape also" that God has already provided.
