If, as you say. Now who is going to determine exactly what God "says?"
Each person must read and interpret it for themselves - just like scientific evidence. Sure, just like in science there is consensus among experts in theology and that consensus helps to guide the layman. But each person must either decide to dig into the evidence and form their own conclusion or trust the consensus of the experts.
No, that is not how theology works and there certsinly isnt consensus.
Science works on evidence and data, not consensus.
Yes. It is how theology works and there certainly is consensus on many important issues.
Consensus is important in science.
Heh, no.
Are you asking for my conclusions?
The Bible determines the truth about Gods creation.
And?
Given the scenarios in the OP, how would you determine who is correct? If you believe that one would use the Bible for that, then explain how one does that.
If God created stuff it has value.
If stuff evolved it's value is arbitrary.

But I've seen HUNDREDS of people who tried to use radioactive dating to accurately date KNOWN objects ages and these methods failed miserably.
What does the Bible tell us about the lack of naturally occurring isotopes with half-lives of less than 700,000,000 years? What does the Bible tell us about SN 1987a 168,000 years ago and the arrival of a neutrino burst hours before it became visible?
Like i was saying outside sources have no value. The Bible is the alone source of truth concerning God's creation. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Period end of discussion, now the only question is, is there a amount of time (long or short amount) between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 before God begins the creation account in Genesis 1:3.
But there is no doubt when God began creating the earth in Genesis 1: 3 and a record of days began. There is a recorded of days from that time on that accurately gives the record of creation of the earth starting with Genesis 1:3.
The Bible alone is the only true account/record of creation, as reveled in the Bible.
The Bible needs no outside conformation or at least it should not for the believer.
You want to debate something, debate the chapters in Is the Bible from heaven? Is the earth a globe? Specifically chapters 6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12.
Starting with page 126 to 287 the book pages are 103 to 262

Sounds like circular logic at work. The Bible is true because the Bible is true.
With no independent confirmation all you have is just that: a belief.
I have confirmation of the Bible, i see the creation as described in the Bible. The two created lights sun greater light and the lesser light the moon and i see stars. All moveing over the earth as stated in the Bible to give light on the earth.
But it doesn't have to have been made by God along the lines of biblical creationism to have value. If God created stuff it has value.
If stuff evolved it's value is arbitrary.
I asked two simple questions and in four paragraphs of response you came nowhere near answering them. Here's what I asked again:
>> What does the Bible tell us about the lack of naturally occurring isotopes with half-lives of less than 700,000,000 years? What does the Bible tell us about SN 1987a 168,000 years ago and the arrival of a neutrino burst hours before it became visible? <<
Can you answer my two simple questions?
