You think I'm going to accept your position BEFORE you've given me a good reason to? Please. That's crazy.

Well, I could be wrong, but it seems to me that your opinion is:

    1. God needs to hear people saying sorry (even if it means they must be allowed to suffer instead of blinking them out of there), even though he knows what's in their hearts and also knows absolutely whether they would have done it if he gave them the opportunity. Yet, God insists that none of that matters, and he will leave them to suffer just so they can say the words he knows they are going to say anyway.
    2. God is inconsistent. He takes actions to remove evidence of what he's done, and yet seems to go out of his way to leave "documentation" as you put it so we'll all know what he did.
In short, the actions you claim God takes is exactly what we'd expect to be claimed of a fictitious character who has no evidence other than old stories that never happened and don't actually fit reality.

    Think this through:

Had God done it your way, then those standing before God at the Great White Throne Judgement would be saying what to Him?

Which conversation do you think applies?

    CONVERSATION ONE:

Sinner: But ... but I would have repented if You would have given me a chance!
God: No you wouldn't. I know in my omniscience you wouldn't have.
    Sinner: Yes I would have.
    God: No you wouldn't.

    CONVERSATION TWO:

Sinner: [nothing to say; he was given plenty of time to repent and didn't]

What you're suggesting is a form of Calvinism, where people don't need to pray the sinner's prayer.

Yet according to the Bible that would not have done the trick either. By the way, all of your made up conversations fail. It is not a valid way to argue.

You missed a bit from conversation one:

God: Look, dude, I'm God. You should know you can't lie to me. I know what's in the hearts of men. Look, it says it in the Bible. Right here in 1 Chronicles 28:9. And here in Psalms 44:21, and Ezekiel 11:5, and 1 Kings 8:39. So don't tell me that I don't know what was in your heart. I knew exactly what was in your heart, and I know there is no way you were going to repent of your wickedness.

I mean, come on, AV, do you really think that God is going to get stuck in an eternal loop of Fraid not, fraid so? Don't you have a higher opinion of your God than that?

You're the one who started out with the idea that God would get stalemated by a sinner...
