Ah, thats a trick question. You could intend that sentence to mean when you posted this message or the moment I have read this message.

Regardless if I told you, You would KNOW that I am God, rather then having FAITH that I am God. Is faith not important to you?

And IF i told you, I would be taking away your free will via my Godly might, and I will do no such thing.

ring true? they read just like greek myths, norse myths, and pretty much every myth i've ever read
the people in the nt, such as the romans do things that no roman government would do, what we know about the leaders in judea from other sources say that the nt is wrong
and don't even start on the ot, its full of nonsense and silly events that no normally capable person would do
Not at all. There is no rational for why man sins, or why the "gods" are simply super humans, or one must be good (when all humans seem capable of are mistakes) in mythology. Everything just was. The Bible is just as relavant today as it was 2000 years ago. You must not be involved in its (the bible) study or you would not make such off the wall remarks...

The guy complaining about work ethics of the 'youth' is complaining about a commonly used term for debating errors and too lazy to google it. Hypocricy much?
Either you know Latin or you do not. I'm not impressed with quotes from the Simpsons.

It's a commonly used term, not different from other terms commonly used in english that are derived from latin. Are you going to preclude us from using those too?

We may need to severely change the english language so he can still follow along.

Aquaduct = water overpass
Museum = exhibition house
Theater = performance show house

etc etc.

It's going to be a large job, but after it is done at least the english language will be so dumbed down that nobody can fail in understanding it.

It may then indeed sound like the less intelligent expressions by Homer Simpson, but than at least it will be understandable for people like lil'nip who have trouble forming words that are more than a syllable long and do not sound like grunts.

It is commonly used because it is a fad. Just like STAT once was a common expression over loud speaker pages. It doesn't make it less stupid.

It's been in use in English for centuries. That hardly constitutes a fad.

As a matter of fact, its appearance in English closely coincides with the word stupid. Are you just using "stupid" because it is a fad?

You're a real brick ---- but that has no bearing on the subject.

Bully to you ---- your lifetime maybe.
That would at least be around 17 years, given that I only spoke english from 10 on. But I have encountered it in a number of writings that are older than I am, some 20 years older, some 40, some 100. So much longer than my lifetime actually.

Brick like a fox!

I'm not the one saying that a phrase that has been around since Latin was a predominant language is a "fad."

Anyway, fad or not, it accurately described the situation and your change in focus.

Not threatened, just annoyed by people who attend/ed school and think that makes them educated.....
Education doesn't enter into it. It takes less then a minute to type in a word you don't know in google and get an explanation on what it means. You're just lazy.
