You mean like creatio ex nihilo?

Absolutely. It's a Latin term commonly used in English. If he has a problem with non sequitur then he should have a problem with creatio ex nihilo and myriad other terms that we hear every day.

The problems with the concepts you propose have been explained to you in depth. That you fail to see them is not to blame on our command (or lack thereof) of the language.

But let's not further derail this thread. If you want to discuss that, start a new thread about it.

I have no problem with that term. I know what it means, I understand what it means, and I don't proclaim it to be a fad that should be avoided. We are not really concerned with word meaning or theological applications here, but rather etymology.

I may deny that embedded age is descriptive of reality, but I do not deny it's usefulness as a term.

I didn't say a word about "concepts." I said "English." Are we having problems with comprehension now? Your problems are starting to grow.

Guilty, for being caught out in the lie, or sanctimoniously self righteous and persecuted... if they are scientifically illiterate brainwashed followers...

Don't bother the man with facts -- he's clearly never cared for them before.

Maybe not, but geez. "Leave the Latin to Homer"?

Leave the Latin. To Homer.

The Latin.

I know this entire ridiculous tangent started because Nip got upset about what he perceived to be me boasting about my education - which is really very modest, especially compared to that of the scientists on this forum - so it's probably not something I should pick at further, but man. "Leave the Latin to Homer." Man.
