How do creationists feel when people accuse them of lying for Jesus?

Neither was Jesus'. Notwithstanding the great difficulties historians have had in identifying a historical jesus separate from the mythologies of the biblical jesus. What is well documented are the inconsistencies and mistakes the unknown biblical authors made when attempt to write the Jesus myth in order to reconcile their story with jewish prophesy. This includes saying his "father" went back to the home of his birth because of a census that didn't happen remotely in his lifetime.

A supposition based on the supposed exploits of a literary character.I might as well ask. Did you have the ability to speak parsel tongue like harry potter unknowingly could at the age of 12?

If by that you mean may I pour water out of a glass and pour wine in then yes. If you mean a mystical, mysterious jesus used mystical mysterious methods to magically transform water to wine you might find me looking at you funny.

Which pretty much covers the rest of those fantastical claims.

This is the one hope I have in the Creation vs Evolution/natural selection debate. There truely isn't one. Creationism isn't science and isn't supported by evidence. Evolution is. So there never truely was a challenge. The dangerous side is in religious fundamentalists dangerously influencing children and attempting to hinder education.
Total nonsense. The biblical accounts ring true and your attempt at discrediting sounds empty.

Amazing. Your overwhelming empirical evidence of such brings me to your thinking!
Believe and think what you wish---------you will anyway. I simply don't wish anyone to have an excuse. Examples: "Oh, I didn't know." "I never had a reason to read the Bible." "No one ever said anything to me concerning such." Etc., etc., etc.....

So you post a judgement value comment with absolutely nothing to support your position. Then yap about the apparent indifference to opinions themselves. Congratulations, if your wish was actually to make no sense. Because you've accomplished it wonderfully.

Interesting... why do you assume that people who don't believe the Bible haven't read it?

Especially if they say where the biblical myths conflict with recorded history. One would suppose someone needs to read and understand the bible before being able to say whether certain evidence conflicts with it.

Or maybe...

SiderealExalt is God!!! He never read the bible because he inspired (by which I of course mean literally dictated) the thing personally! And Littlenipper knows SiderealExalt is God, because he knows that God wouldn't need to read the bible, which means that when he said that SiderealExalt hadn't read the bible but still knew the stories in it he could say that because SiderealExalt is God and littlenipper knew this. Ooh, I'm getting so excited about this! God is posting on this forum and littlenipper is His disciple!!!

I mean, I know the above might be insulting to some of the people posting here, but that is the only logical conclusion that can be drawn from the posts up to know.

Believing in evolution is like believing that New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere. Believing in Christianity unsurprisingly doesn't work that way. There in lies a difference between scientists and religion.

You mean like being literate and reading a copy in your native language. Wow that was hard.

This I think folks is Tom throwing a hissy fit because his "God of gaps" is getting squeezed out of credibility by the pursuit of knowledge. It would be much more convenient for the religious to tell us all to know longer learn about the universe and simply say, "God did it." Science scares them. Nough said.

There was so much wrong with the question, so many directions he could have went with, he really didn't know where to begin. That's why he asked for them to stop filming for a minute.

But these lying websites, like Answers in Genesis, purposefully deceive their audience. In this particular case, they chopped off the majority of the video, intentionally misleading the audience to believe that Dawkins was stumped.

Actually, I was making a sarcastic reply at the endless stupidity displayed in a single statement by our all lil'nip. But if you want to think otherwise you are of course free to do so. I guess I should have been clearer on the sarcasm bit. I knew we needed a smiley for that.

ring true? they read just like greek myths, norse myths, and pretty much every myth i've ever read
the people in the nt, such as the romans do things that no roman government would do, what we know about the leaders in judea from other sources say that the nt is wrong
and don't even start on the ot, its full of nonsense and silly events that no normally capable person would do

What am I thinking right now?

Ah, thats a trick question. You could intend that sentence to mean when you posted this message or the moment I have read this message.

Regardless if I told you, You would KNOW that I am God, rather then having FAITH that I am God. Is faith not important to you?

And IF i told you, I would be taking away your free will via my Godly might, and I will do no such thing.

I'm sure Arafat and company thought so too --- and that goes for your signature as well.

Alternatively, those who claim you guessed wrong are spiritually blind. Also, they know you're God but deny it because of their wicked hearts that don't want to be held accountable for their actions. Pity them, for they obviously live in a world of depair. ;)
