People adapt to survive. E.g sun shiney. Skin get burnt so increase ammount of melonin in the skin to stop skin from burning. ECT.

So are you saying that God created humans before Adam and Eve?Br. Max said:On the 6th day God created man - male and female and told them to populate the EARTH. Then he rested. THEN We find God creating Adam in EDEN - populating the garden with animals and THEN creating Eve. They mannage to sin and end up kicked out of the garden to earth.
Chapter one is the recreation of life on earth. Chapter 2 is the creation of life in the Garden of Eden. Notice that there is not only a different order of creation in the two chapters - but different locations.Atlantians said:So are you saying that God created humans before Adam and Eve?
The Bible never states that.
And that is a rather big thing to leave out.
Isn't it more reasonable to assume that CH-1 is an overview and CH-2 is a detailed account of the craetion of humankind?
And that Adam and Eve had many more children then merely 3 in their lifetimes?
That they had many more in fact and that the Main three are the ones mentioned?
mutations end life (IE cancer) They do not spawn new life.Super Gnat said:Everybody's born with mutations, though most of them don't do anything good or bad. You can even develop them later in life; cancers result from mutations.

Atlantians said:Recreation? What was the first creation? The Bible mentions one creation. Two craetions is a massive detail to just casually leave out.
Eden is on earth my friend.
Chapter One is an overview of the creation of the universe, earth, and life on earth.
Chapter two is a detailed description of the creation of life on earth, mainly the Garden of Eden. Specifically the creation of Human kind.
Eden was on earth. It probably was destroyed by the flood. And or it died of other causes. I highly dought that the Angel was/is visable.Br. Max said:Eden is on earth? Where? I'd like to take a trip there to see the Angel with the flaming sword standing at the gate. OH and maybe I could get a pic of the tree of life or the tree of knowledge . . . .
Eden was and remains separate from the earth.
Did you ever once wonder why God commands that a male child is to be circumcised on the 8th day of his life? Why do we worship on the 8th day? Why did Christ rise on the 8th day?
NOW as for recreating - let me guess - you are a young earther?
Get a bible out and go over the hebrew of gen 1:1 and 1:2.
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 1:2 And the earth BECAME without form and void . . . .
HUH? Talk about making things up. There is nothing anywhere in scripture to even begin to support this notion. NOR is there anything that might suggest that God would allow what was perfect - that which he cast Adam and Eve out of so that it would remian untainted - be destroyed.Atlantians said:Eden was on earth. In the beginning - God created the Earth - the earth with dinosaurs. Satan is cast down to earth - dinos are destroyed - the earth is without form and void - and God recreates the earth as we now know it.I am an Old Earth creationist my friend. I have stated so in the past day I believe.
And the Bible says God created life... not recreated life.
I got it from studying the hebrew. WAS is a mistranslation - hâyâh - the hebrew word in question here means to become. The Bibe says 'the earth was without form and void'. I have no idea where you got 'the earth became without form and void'.
That verse is not in the Bible.
'The earth was without form and void' is correct.
The Sabbath is the 7th day - one more than 7 is?? 8!Jesus rose on the third day from friday(Sabath day), IE: Sunday.
Not the eighth day.
You must not have ever read the church fathers. We worship on the 8th day.Modern Judaism and Christian Seventh Day Adventists worship on the seventh day. Most Christians worship on the First day.
My point is that you are thinking in the box. God does not exist in a box. What in the world is your point?![]()
And again, finally, Eden was on earth. It was a physical place on earth. Where else would it have been? The moon?! Mars?! Adromeda Galaxy?!![]()
We keep the eighth day [Sunday] with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead" (Letter of Barnabas 15:6-8 [A.D. 74]).
not CAME into being - COME to BE - or BE-COME.Atlantians said:I got it from studying the hebrew. WAS is a mistranslation - hâyâh - the hebrew word in question here means to become.
It also means 'come into being'.
So the Earth 'came into being' void and without form.

Since you refuse to support your post with facts, data, or standard definitions (which i even posted for you) I think Im gonna exit this thread.Br. Max said:No race is not a myth - the notion that there are different races of MAN is a myth. There may be physical characteristics that are indicative of a specific limited gene pool, but those differences are too small to constitute different races of man. There are wto types of people who hold fast to the race myth: those who benefit from the myth and those who fear those who appear different.
I posted a very standard definition of race. I posted the origins and history of race theory. Just because you do not lik ethe facts I presented does not mean that I did not post facts.JonF said:Since you refuse to support your post with facts, data, or standard definitions (which i even posted for you) I think Im gonna exit this thread.

Migration went eastward, northeastward, to alaska and north america. Thus explaining the similarities between the asian, eskimo, and north american indian.JVD said:Some very "interesting" beliefs here. Many seem to be based on tradition, or very shaky biblical theories.
Basically different parts of the earth ended up with different looking people. But we are all still people.
The bible is really not clear on how these differences came to be. It seems to me to be most obviously a case of migration and then seperation. It obviously is a genetic thing.
I have heard of the tortured reasoning that the "adamic" cooresponds to the 10 lost tribes before. The people I have heard espouse this are white supremicists.
Based purely on Genesis, we are all descended from Noah and his wife. The Shemites (semites ??) settled the middle east, the Hamites the south and the Japhethites the north is one conjecture...but what about the asiatic peoples? I really just give up on this point. The bible doesn't explain it so I leave it to the geneticists to explore.
hâyâh is best translated "was" if you compare it's usage in other passages.Br. Max said:not CAME into being - COME to BE - or BE-COME.![]()
