How different would things be if the gender roles of today existed since the beginning?

You asked two simple questions. My answer to both is simply No.

.
Your not playing fair, it takes him 5 Paragraphs to say what he wants to say, and you sum it all up in 2 letters.

The question is, given how much more masculine women are forced to become, how feminized men are becoming. What could the potential implications be if this continues for say another 200k years?

masculine=More women are the provider of their family now than ever, have jobs that mostly men had etc l
feminine=afraid to show aggression, forced to act more gentle to fit in school systems run by women, stay at home dads now exist when that was never a thing before,etc....

I'm not sure which subforum would be more appropriate for this thread, but based on the part in bold, this isn't it.

The reason men are more muscular, have facial hair, etc. is biological and has nothing to do with gender roles.

Although one could argue that classic gender roles are the result of men being more muscular etc.

The question is simply based off of how much more masculine women are today than at any point in history.

Are they?
That's not clear to me at all.

Women surely do more jobs today that typically have been associated with males, sure.
But does that mean that women are more "masculin" now? I don't see why.

There was a time where women couldn't vote. Did they become more masculine by getting the right to vote?

There was a time when there were no women in boards of directors. Did they become more masculine by gettings seats in such boards?

There was a time when women's first job was raising kids, cooking and cleaning.
Today, women have jobs as well and men help out with raising kids, cooking and cleaning.
Did women become more masculine by sharing the household work with men?
Did men become more female by doing the same?

Again, this simply doesn't seem to be the case.

And what do you think the implications would be if such an environment existed for hundreds of thousands of years.

I'ld dare say: less wars.

Here's the root of the problem: how is this a "given"?
That's not clear at all.

masculine=More women are the provider of their family now than ever, have jobs that mostly men had etc l

How does that physically make women more "masculine"?

feminine=afraid to show aggression, forced to act more gentle to fit in school systems run by women, stay at home dads now exist when that was never a thing before,etc....

How does that physically make men more "feminine"?

Let me ask you all a question. What do the words masculine and feminine mean? Because if you know what those words mean then why is it so hard to give your thoughts on this question?

Here's my point....

When you talk about a "man that's feminine", I'm thinking of some over the top gay person that loves to do ballet.

When you talk about a "women that's masculine", I'm thinking of some over the top lesbian that just signed a new contract with the firs team of Manchester City.

For the record: I'm perfectly okay with both stereotypes.

But that's what goes through my head.

What I do NOT think about when you say "feminine man", is a stay at home dad.
What I do NOT think about when you say "masculine woman", is a woman that has a job.

I feel like there is a disconnect in your discourse between what men and women do for a living, and what their physicality is like.

What would the world be like? Would there be a third sex perhaps? Would women be taller, have more facial hair, muscular etc? Men shorter, higher pitched voices etc?

Should the society (other cultures, technology, etc.) be reset back too?

These considerations suggest your assumption could not be real.

Personally though......

I could certainly get on board with being a stay at home dad taking care of a bunch of kids.
Playing FIFA all day long with them, learning them music and then jamming all day long.... while mommy is out working her high paying board of directors job at some huge multi-national.... ow yes, sign me up!

I love strong independent women, anyway!

:)

I don't know much about evolution, but what I do know is that environment and not just environment but behavior and actions play a role in how a species evolves correct? If this is true why wouldn't women and men 200,000 years from now be different than they are today because women are doing more manly things and men are doing more girly things. I mean certainly this will impact us in a way we may not necessarily want.

"Manly" and "girly" are transient social memes which are unlikely to last anywhere near that long. But if they do, and switching them like you seem to believe is being done improves our ability to survive as a species then that is exactly what we want.
