CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was formerly a member of rtcwonline.com. It was a gaming forum dedicated to the PC game - Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It also used vBulletin and I found it WAY better than ezboard or Ikonboard. So I was browsing the vBulletin site and there was this list of sites that had purchasd licenses to use vBulletin. Being a Christian, I checked out a few before I landed here.

The last two years were one big trial in my life. I've lost my faith many times, but at that one particular moment I was at my wits ends. With nowhere else to turn...I turned back to God for help. Although my prayers weren't answered in the way I would have liked...I did receive his help and his guidance.
I then searched out a place to have daily fellowship with other Christians. I stumbled into this place..... So here I am!

I was an arrogant CHristian who thought he knew apologetics looking for a fight. So I was searching for this place. It was after I almost got baptized in the Mormon church, and started learning to discuss religion.
