Interesting....

I used to be an Admin at another board through ezboard, called The King's Tavern. That board merged with Christian Forums, which is how I found this place.

I came with the bricks. Back in '99 or 2000, when everybody got sick and tired of the shenanigans on the Left Behind Message Board (hereafter referred to as The Board That Shall Not Be Mentioned), about a hundred or so posters split off and formed two new boards, the "Pizza Parlor", and the "Unofficial Left Behind Message Board". I was a founding member of both.

The "Unofficial Left Behind Message Board" changed its name to something else that I have forgotten, and later yet, changed it again to the "King's Tavern". King's Tavern merged with Christian Forums, and here we are.

I don't go to the Pizza Parlor any more, by the by.....a lot of the old-timers have left there, and it's been infiltrated by a lot of posters from the Straight Dope site. For all intents and purposes, it's really a political and social actions board any more, where the liberals and the conservatives scream at each other a lot, and most of them are humanist agnostics, not Christians. It got too depressing to go there, so I resigned as moderator of one of the forums, and recently removed the link from my bookmarks altogether. It's a very sad ending for a once-noble board.

I like it here a LOT better.

Someone I had met at the 5Solas board, Thomas, recommended it to me when I asked him what his other boards were. (I was really bored with 5Solas, btw, and I was one of the few Arminians on a Calvinist board )

Somebody posted it as a link or something on the LBMB and I felt the Lord leading me here and here I am. I never thought I could be a part of something as beautiful as this place. I love it here and praise God for leading me here
