How did you come to Christ?

This is for people who came to Christ later in life or were born in Christian families, but didn't really believe until later. It would be nice if you can share your stories about how you came to Christ and what factors drove you to him?

I ask because I will be getting baptized soon and it would be nice to hear other people's stories of how they made their own journey.

Hi,

I was bought up in a Christian family but had no relationship with God at all. I mean I went to church raised my hands, sang all the songs, even liked doing so. But I was never really impacted. I mean often times God would do something that should have changed my life. But I never really made the change. many years latter I had a dream about going to hell, and it scared me out to church. For some reason God himself just motivated me. I made a true comittment to follow God. I can now gladly say God is good and I am very happy where I am at with him. I would not want the old life back, not that there was anything actually wrong with the way I was living. Being a kid was fun. But being and adult without God would be a nightmare.
