How did you choose your name?

Mine is the name of the defendant in the case. It started as a private joke between Seebs and me, but now I'm stuck with it.

It's pronounced with a long "A" in the first syllable: Kay - Dan.

I was tring to get a name to get onto the DC talk website in 8th grade and someone was talking about peaches so i tried it and it was taken so i added my age to it then the more places i went the more peach16 was being used so i added 4u to it and haven't had a problem since, and it's easier to keep the same name than change it every year. then i don't have to remember what name goes with with site

My name is because my real name Regina , there are several names that can be derived from it.
Raina is one of them, so for a long time it was Raini, along the way I have changed it .
Rainingangel is because of the part about rain from my self made nickname, I love angels.
Since I became a Christian, I have used RainingAngel, its kinda like Reigning.

I was banned by a radioactive bucket of phlegm at a certain forum then invited to another forum to which several other forum members followed. The admin from the first forum followed us over to the new one and talked them into banning us all-thus the name "Leader of the Banned". By the way, that mod was fired and replaced by me.

Wow, great thread idea, and lotsa great stories. Glad to read them, I never would have guessed at some of the reasons behind these names...

Me: I am an avid gardener. The peony is one of my most favorite flowers, Paeonia, is just the latin term for it. And it had to be pink. Not that I am a big fan of pink as a rule, but pink peonies are gorgeous.

Another great thread could be: guessing at the meaning behind usernames...there could be some funny guesses there, but I don't know how it would work as a thread?
