Hell and death. It is our just punishment for rebelling against God. There is nothing you or I can do to pay God back for our rebellion. We need God's pardon and only God, as the righteous judge, can choose to grant it. If he chooses not to, then we meet our just and right demise in hell.If you haven't chosen the Lord, who have you chosen?
No.
We're saying you are mistaken about your role in your own salvation. You didn't do anything to pat yourself on the back about.
We're saying, stop teaching something God does not teach.
You are right. Yeshua also chooses to have people justly die in their sins and go to hell. In fact, we all deserve that just choice of God's, but because of His great mercy and grace, he chooses some to atone.
Grace...it's amazing.
Your responses seem scripted so often,If you haven't chosen the Lord, who have you chosen?

is there something we don't know, something unusual that doesn't let you understand simple statements ?
Y'SHUA MESSIAH said plainly : quote:

You did not choose me, but I chose you
YHWH sent a famine,God does not shut up the kingdom of heaven against man.
I love Ezekiel and have taught it in adult Sunday school. It is a great book about God's sovereignty and his requirement of holiness for his people.I'm not patting myself on the back.
I will give you Ezekiel 20 to read about God's chosen. You will find there were things required from them, being chosen.
God never let's criminals into His holy presence. He kills them. The only time He doesn't kill them is when He personally chooses to pardon a criminal by his son's atonement for that person.God does not shut up the kingdom of heaven against man. Remember, that was what the Pharisees did.
YHWH sent a famine,
not
a famine of food or water,
but
a famine of the hearing of the WORD OF YHWH.
YHWH JUDGES RIGHTEOUSLY, PERFECTLY, ALWAYS.
You only repent...after...God chooses you.Sure, you can repent for forgiveness of your sins. I think I've already showed you what remission is. Do you remember?

The few verses used by free will proponents are simply not promoting free will salvation or conversely free will rejection of God.
You must realize by now that there are only a handful of verses, out of context, which you can cherry pick to try support your claims.
Please explain Romans 9, Ephesians 1 and Ephesians 2. I have waited for days while you weasel out of addressing these passages.
After YHWH chose me, HE trained me and taught me HIS WORD and HIS WAY.After the Lord chose you, did you choose Him, or did you reject Him?
So, share the whole chapter with us and how it teaches free will. We'll wait for your exegesis.I didn't cherry pick a verse; I gave you the whole chapter. Tell us what was required by God's chosen?
HE already sent a famine. Why not give the whole chapter of Amos 8? Tell us why God will send a famine of hearing His word.
You only repent...after...God chooses you.

Yes, God's judgment falls first on the house of God. Read Hebrews on that issue. God has consistently dealt with his children when the sin and defame his holy name.I will give you Amos 8 also. The end came upon God's chosen people. God said He will not pass by them anymore. Read the whole chapter.
By the way, you still have to repent for the forgiveness of sins.
I answered this with the above comment on Amos. God will discipline his chosen, because they are his children. This will suffice -
5 And say unto them, thus saith the Lord God; in the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the Lord your God;
6 In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:
7 Then said I unto them, cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
So I will ask you, were God's chosen predestined to eternal life or to God's wrath?
