The idea of Newton's law is precisely the problem with science on this subject. Man's understanding is so limited. What we understand one day is tipped o its head the next. Only God's word is true. Let God be true and every man a.liar.

Science is a great thing as tremendous discoveries have come from science such as electricity and the use of oil or medicines. But science can not adequately discover the origins of life. It's impossible. The Bible tells us how life came to be. It was written by men inspired by God. They wrote what God wanted them to write. The explanation on how the universe and life came to exist. Particularly focusing on man. For we were created to have a relationship with God and the animals weren't. But now as Romans says man worships the creation more than the creator. Desperately using science to prove there is no God.

Read that and tell me if you do not see a contradiction from the author. If not, I'll point it out to you but I think it is self evident.

Also, the geo-strata explanation does not address the miraculous preservation of the tree truck itself over the thousands of years of exposure in a wet, oxygenated environment. Around here (Nova Scotia) dead trees in the forest rot and decay completely within a few decades.

I think also of note is the absence of moss, mushrooms or lichen that would have covered these trees if they had been exposed to the environment. Don't you find that curious?

Newton's law of universal gravitation is a very good approximation to the truth. It has not been tipped on its head.

As Asimov said [with respect to the fact that the earth is an oblate spheroid], "When people thought the earth was flat, they were wrong. When people thought the earth was spherical, they were wrong. Genesis 1 is called a frame story.

Yes Genesis 1 is most obviously and grand general overview of the creation. God didn't get down into the fine details of creation in it other than to proclaim he is the creator and what he made the order it was made and how long it took for him to do so. The frame of all the history to follow.
