CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm a bit crabby this morning.
It's disgusting how the social media website Gab is supposed to be about free speech, but it's overrun by false Christians that are full of hate towards Jews and blacks. You say something Biblical on that website - they gang up against you.

I think I would feel better if I went to a physical church. I haven't gone to one in over 3 years. The churches near me, whenever I look up their statement of faith on the Internet it either includes unbiblical doctrine somewhere or they don't list one at all.
The last church I had tried, I think it would've worked if the second pastor hadn't had unbiblical doctrine about water baptism (what he said was nowhere mentioned in their statement of faith). That's why I left. I liked that they didn't force me to greet and shake hands with other people there. I liked how the singing lasted 15 minutes max (at my previous church it was 45 minutes and was focused on performance instead of worshiping Jesus). I liked certain things that the lead pastor said that seemed to be a problem with the Baptists.
