House groups co-ordinator

My wife and I are will stop leading house group this summer after leading it for the last 6 years. We have enjoyed it and would hope to lead it again in years to come.

However, all current house groups leaders and here are a lot were invited to an meal to be thanked for their work. More importantly just a get together with others. So i am wondering why we were not invited?

Either we were forgotten to be e mailed which i find hard, there is a group e mail address or as we are no long leading we are no longer wanted.

so to thosse who co-ordinate homegroup leaders, please makes sure you treat those giving up their time to prepare when lives are busy with jobs etc, so please give them the respect they need.

That's too bad; must feel terrible. It sounds like the person sending out invitations was working with a database mailing list, and your name had been innocently already removed. Too automated-- in a venue where the personal touch is so valued!

I am curious -- why are there regional coordinators for home groups? That seems to conflict with the ideals of house church.
