The one thing with the Charasmatics/Penticostals/WOF is that those titles incompass variaties of denominations and non-denominational's. There are Catholic Charasmatic's, there are Charasmatic Messianic Jew's, there are Charasmatic Baptist's. There are people who according to what they believe on healing are labeled WOF but yet the churches they attend are Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, etc. Then, there's the miriad of Penticostal groups. There are many non-denom's against tongues and many who are wild like my church. We all believe and are filled with the same Spirit yet all have different views according to how The Spirit has worked and manifested in and through us.

Not a one of us has it "ALL". All of us has something to learn and glean from the other.

I believe it is important to look at what someone say's and first of all not take it personally. There are some people who seem to have somthing "negative" to add to every post made by others. I don't know that they mean to, but they just seem to point out the "con's" of the issue. As frustrating as that may be to the orig poster you must remain calm. Ask question. Ask the person to clarify what they said.

And to this type of person, I incourage you to pray before you post something. Think of what you might think if someone posted the exact same words back at one of your posts. Learn to consider one another.

I personally, enjoy being made to think about what I believe, why I believe it, and how not only how I can convey my thoughts to others so they may understand, but how may I present Jesus so they may be changed. Not to "my" way of thinking but to "His" way of thinking. It was Him who said, "My ways are not your ways". I personally want to be incited to my way's becoming His ways.

Thanks for all your input and incouragement and incitement to change and make me more like Jesus. . .I got a long way to go yet. :)

Amen!
I have learned a lot, we old time pentecostals sort of looked down on the "charisma" movement for a long time, although we praised God that people were seeing we were right lol...
We secretly felt among ourselves that most "charismatic's" were Johnny come lately flakes, and we had it all. Hah! I have learned so much from the Charismatic movement, may I continue to learn as God continues to teach all of his children. When we stop learning we stop being Pleasing to our Father. May I remain teachable all of my life.
Amen!

I agree with AlabamaMan, this is our main problem.

The ‘Body of Christ’ is formed from all denominations and not only charismatic Christians, we are obligated to treat a member who differ from ‘our believes’ with love and respect as they are our brothers and sisters too. This does not mean that we have to accept what they believe, but rather do divide the person form his/her denomination and care for pray for the person.

All denominations have some truth and some wrong believes and its not to say only charismatic Christians are always right.

We can expect a baby Christian to act like a baby and a child like a child and an adult like and adult.
There are different stages that Christians go through to get matured in Christ.
http://www.christianforums.com/t56329
If one Christian posts something that another Christian do not agree with, and he/she response with hostility you can know he/she is not matured yet. If both Christians are immature the thread will turn into an argument.
This forum is here for all Charismatic Christians, mature or not, it is also an opportunity for the mature Christians to help and lead younger Christians into Christian adulthood.

This is a very matured way to handle a posting
