The one thing with the Charasmatics/Penticostals/WOF is that those titles incompass variaties of denominations and non-denominational's. There are Catholic Charasmatic's, there are Charasmatic Messianic Jew's, there are Charasmatic Baptist's. There are people who according to what they believe on healing are labeled WOF but yet the churches they attend are Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, etc. Then, there's the miriad of Penticostal groups. There are many non-denom's against tongues and many who are wild like my church. We all believe and are filled with the same Spirit yet all have different views according to how The Spirit has worked and manifested in and through us.
Not a one of us has it "ALL". All of us has something to learn and glean from the other.
I believe it is important to look at what someone say's and first of all not take it personally. There are some people who seem to have somthing "negative" to add to every post made by others. I don't know that they mean to, but they just seem to point out the "con's" of the issue. As frustrating as that may be to the orig poster you must remain calm. Ask question. Ask the person to clarify what they said.
And to this type of person, I incourage you to pray before you post something. Think of what you might think if someone posted the exact same words back at one of your posts. Learn to consider one another.
I personally, enjoy being made to think about what I believe, why I believe it, and how not only how I can convey my thoughts to others so they may understand, but how may I present Jesus so they may be changed. Not to "my" way of thinking but to "His" way of thinking. It was Him who said, "My ways are not your ways". I personally want to be incited to my way's becoming His ways.
Thanks for all your input and incouragement and incitement to change and make me more like Jesus. . .I got a long way to go yet.
