CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love horses too and am blessed with six of them! I raise draft horses and have five plus a little miniature gelding. I also paint and draw horses, collect model horses and My Little Ponies

I have three horses; a 13 year old Arab mare, a 10 year old Standardbred gelding, and a 2 year old QH gelding. I don't show, but I'm learning how to jump, so I might go into Hunter later on, or I'll get addicted to Dressage and/or Barrel Racing... showing is in my future, although I don't know when or in what discipline

- anyone think it would be too late for me to try again? I moved up to the North of England five years ago and there's heaps and heaps of riding schools around here - one just down the road from my home. 63 is still very young.

My mom used to say that too and she was from Holland. You are never too old to learn. I am 42 and am planning some refresher classes sinc I havenot been riding for awhile.

Im sad to say i have no horse of my own, however i do ride regularly. I have a picture of my dream horse in my picture album. Her name is candy, and im not sure what type of horse she is. i just know that her coloring is a palomino, which is my favorite.
