  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh man... I did not like that film at all.

What was your opinion of it?
I liked it. I'm usually not a fan of these fake camcorder-type movies (Blair Witch, Cloverfield, etc.) so my expectations were really low when I watched it on DVD. I thought it was decent. Not great, but decent.

But get this.

I was at the theater last week and they showed the trailer for PA2, as well as the ending from the first one, and people...were....freaking...out. My son couldn't watch it. He was putting his hands over his face.

I looked over at my daughter, and we both agreed that we are going to pay full price to see PA2.

So, yeah. I liked it :sorry:

Haha good stuff.

Another one of those "cam" movies that are good is "REC." the original is made in spain so if you don't know spanish, well.. i'm very glad dvd's have subtitles usually.

They did an american remake of it called Quarantine, but I'm not sure if it's any good.

Do they even make horror movies anymore? The last one that even startled me was Hellbound:Hellraiser 2 and that was more because of the graphic scenes than being truly frightening.

Anyone suggest something that is actually, well... horrifying?
