I have, perhaps, an odd question that might not be answered. Are any of you familiar with Chlorine titrators? I'm hoping for a cliff notes version of what this is, what it's used for, reagents, maybe instrumentation, etc. I'm assuming chlorine is titrated, ok. But, the reason I'm asking is because I have a buffer on hand that states it's application is for Chlorine Titrators and that it's a Chlorine Titrimeter Reagent. From what I can gather, it's at extremly high concentration (around 10M), though concentration isn't listed on the bottle. I'm going off of the MSDS and info from cust. service support, which hasn't been terribly helpful. Ime, buffers are usually much lower in concentration (obviously) so I figure this buffer needs to be diluted. Either way, I think understanding its application would point me in the right direction.
