  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I enjoyed writing at school, and I did used to have little stabs at it - but really, I haven't had enough time to seriously do anything..what with having had 4 kids, working, now grandkids, also all sorts of alarms and despondencies in my life - unemployed at present, not many jobs about, but I'm STILL occupied with one thing or another, plus nowadays I hardly get any peace and quiet...sometimes I can hardly hear myself think - squashed in small flat, two adult sons living with us, very loud and noisy daughter visiting with grand-daughter, plus sundry son's girlfriends..LOL

Actually, my husband was saying we need to get a little nest of coffee tables as we have so little space...and my son said 'It's bad enough as it is moving around this flat....we move around like Pacman' I just couldnt stop laughing, it was so true - so I did a Pacman impersonation..only as I'm overweight I also did it sideways.
One night we were trying to do Michael Jackson dance moves, only there wasn't enough space.....but sorry, I'm rambling now

haha moaning is a good thing. It's an outlet, these blogs. It's a very healthy thing to moan into them
