We also know that every homosexual taking in a child will teach them that the sin of same-gender sex is OK to engage in.
Yes - Which in my opinion, is a good thing. Maybe those kids won't grow up to be hateful bigots who (verbally or physically) attack gay people.

It is the Gay Agenda that took these children out of good homes.

Um... What?
It was actually the Christian Agenda, if anything. Catholic Charities provided state-funded adoption services. When you accept money from the government to provide a service, you have to abide by the government's rules regarding who you must provide that service to. Plus, as someone else already mentioned, CC was allowing gay people to adopt children long before gay marriage was legal in MA. It's just that when it became legal, they were required to, and apparently they didn't like that.

Dear Empress,

Your highness, let me point out that the issue here is the fact that the Catholic Church was acting on behalf of the state, not as a private entity. If a church or its agency acts in the private sector, then of course the state cannot and should not place requirements on the church that violate the church members' beliefs. But if a church agency is going to act in the public arena, providing services with public funds, the church agency must follow the policies and laws of the state.

Your most loyal subject.

To my most esteemed most loyal subject, we (that is the royal "we" of course) were unaware that the Catholic organization was acting on behalf of the State using public funds. As we stated in our earlier post, we heard only a brief portion of a radio program discussing this matter. This, of course, changes our view of the matter as would above-mentioned situations of the agency adopting to non-Christians or previously providing adoption services to gay couples when not so required, if these things did indeed occur. We will spend further time in research before opening our big mouth next time.

For your most courteous response, we hereby dub thee Baron von OhioProf, ruler of the province of Cantchareadgurl.

2. Homosexuals: I'm calling you out!!! Prove to me that HE did not raise up from the dead! Prove to me that HE did not die on the cross and did not rise from the dead. The ball is in your court now. No one has ever been able to prove that HE did not rise from the dead. So you must prove that JESUS CHRIST did not rise from the dead. If you do this, no Christian will ever bother you again. No Christian will be able to rebuke you for your vile sin of homosexuality; because you have destroyed Christianity.

Until then; you will be rebuked for your vile sin. You will be corrected and commanded to repent and turn your life to Christ.

Wow you're funny.
1) Prove to me that he did. Ooops, you can't, can you?
2) Command me all you like. I'll command right back - command you to leave your life of hatred, that is. Jesus is love, isn't he? Where's the love in your post?

I am most honored. Or honoured as they say in Canada, where they like those extra vowels. I have never been a Baron before, especially of my very own province. Since I am past childbearing age, people may want to call me Barren Baron. It has a pejorative ring, but the alliteration is snappy. The Barren Baron von Ohioprof.

My first act on behalf of the good and faithful people of Cantchareadgurl is to order that all subjects in the province must read for a minimum of 20 minutes each night before bed! We will have no subject left behind! So sayeth the Barren Baron.

for required reading!! And for all subjects of the province of Cantchareadgurl who fail to comply with the decree of the Barren Baron von Ohioprof, the Empress Flibbertigibbet says "Off with their heads."

Oh - wait - that's the punishment of choice for the Queen of Hearts; and some freaky terrorists.

Empress Flibbertigibbet is much too squeamish to carry out beheadings. Therefore, it is decreed that any subject who fails to comply shall be forced to engage in an ongoing one-on-one debate with the OP for a fortnight.

lol I still wonder why his thread is directed towards gay people, but it all has to do with "proof" of God. lol

I can't even explain how funny that really is, even though hes not even trying.

Right... as if he's saying that there aren't lots of heterosexuals who don't share his religious beliefs, and lots of queer people who do. I can imagine my queer Christian friends, startled and unnerved by his big font and fiery rhetoric, timidly saying, "Um, I don't want to prove that he didn't. I think that he did too. What again does that have to do with the genitals of the person I love?"

No, that's not how the burden of proof works.

Anyway, as I've asked before - what about homosexuals who do believe that Christ rose from the dead?

David.

Prove that something didn't happen, that's logical. Prove to me a dinosaur didn't just walk through my house. Oh wait, you can't because there's no evidence? Then obviously it happened.

As a side note, I'm not by any means saying Jesus isn't real, just pointing out how horribly, mind numbingly dumb his argument is, and it annoys me. Also, why is this directed at gays? I... don't get it, can someone explain?

If there is no, and by that I mean zero, absolute zero, so much lack that someone reading just got poorer (with the current stock market, someone here just lost playing that game) evidence for something happening, then it doesn't matter if it happened or not as it's happening (if it did) has no effect on the universe at all. Given well agreed upon things, what has happened is long ago a book was penned detailing the life of a figure we call Jesus. As to it's being true, that would depend on your personal experiences and how you handle razors (not talking phone nor shaving here).
