Tell me then where homosexuality in and of itself is considered a sin....
Read the verse, being a homosexual is not the sin, engaging in homosexual acts is. Now unless you can prove that simply being one is a sin, then your argument has no base.Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination

You have a misocnception on the definition of homosexuality. A homosexual is one who has an attraction to a member of the same sex. Not someone who has engaged in the act. I want to instill in Christians love for ALL people. As I pointed out before. No one ever claims to be a drug addict who has never taken drugs because thhey are not a drug addict.
Nor is a person a homosexual who has not committed the act. All homosexuality is sin because it is a choice that we make.
Contrary to scripture, it says:The person who becomes a Christian from the homosexual lifestyle does the same thing that any other sinner does to get saved. They turn from their sin or they do not get saved.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only son; that whosoever shall believe in him will have everlasting life.
If you have even lied, you are guilty of breaking ALL the commandments!
I have to research this, but I was under the impression that after Jesus freed us from the law, anyone who tried to keep even one aspect of the law was responsible for the whole of it. In other words- If you say, "this is a sin because it is written in the law." you are also responsible for the laws regarding clothes with mixed fabrics and the food laws. I have a friend who wrote a book on the subject. I will ask him where he got his information (if I must).
In either case, it is an interesting point. Either we trust Jesus that he set us free from the law or we don't. If we don't we'd better clean out our closet (literally and figuratively) because none of us uphold the law.
You seem top be very confused here. Homosexuality is the act thhat a homosexula commits. One cannot be a homosexual unless they have had the relations. And all homosexuality is sin. True Christian love will warn them so that they can make the honest choice to repent.
Hello SAuddenlySeee,
here in lies the problem in the church today. it has beenn led astray. This is why the Lord warned that mmany will sayy LOrd! Lord! only to hear "I never knew you."
At salvation we are set free from the penality of the law, not an obligation to obey His commands. The law has nno more authority over us. In other words it cannot condemn us, but we who come to Christ are to obey ALL that He commands.
Matt 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
If a person claims to be a Christiann and does not seek to obey His commands they have lied according to scripture.
The obediiance does not save, but it shows if the person is real since a lost person will not have a deep hunger in their heart to obey all.

It would also mean he died in vain.Jesus coming and dying so that people could continue to worry about those things just doesn't make sense. It would mean he wasn't good enough.
It would also mean he died in vain.
homosexual- adjective
1.of, pertaining to, or exhibiting homosexuality.
2.of, pertaining to, or noting the same sex. noun
3.a homosexual person.
homosexuality- noun
sexual desire or behavior directed toward a person or persons of one's own sex.
Sex- Idiom8.to have sex, to engage in sexual intercourse.
A homosexual is a person who exhibits behavior directed toward a person of the same sex. Homosexuality is not the act. The act is called sex. A homosexual who has not had sex is a virgin, but still a homosexual.
I believe what you are trying to say is that merely being homosexual is not a sin but the act of homosexual sex is. If we all use the correct meaning, we can all be on the same page without arguments about definitions.
Where does God say that a homosexual is one who has engaged in the lifestyle? It doesn't say it in the Bible, and that's all that matters. Your logic will not work unless a homosexual can be defined as a sin, and it can't. A homosexual is one who is attracted to a memeber of the same sex. You as a heterosexual are not one because you have had sex, but because you are attracted to members of the opposite sex. Otherwise we would all be adulterers.we are not on the same page and cannot be until we alll accept the lord's meaning of the terms. A homosexual is a person who has engaged in the lifestyle. A person is not a theif until he steals. The same with a person in hoimosexuallity. They are not homosexuals until they do the sin. Homosexuallity is the word used to describe the sin. homosexual is a term used too describe the person. Since one cannot be without the other both terms carry the penality of sin.
So true. Which is why people using levitical law for reasoning in things like this is not only offensive to homosexuals but is offensive to me as a Christian.

Ahhh. So, you are using english according to Jesus? Okay. I didn't realize.
Just so you know, your thief example doesn't work. Here is why:
Thief- noun, plural thieves. a person who steals, esp. secretly or without open force; one guilty of theft or larceny.
See, a thief is someone who does steal, therefore a person would not be a thief until he has already started stealing. Whereas, if you look at my previous post , a homosexual is someone who has the desire to have sex with someone of the same sex but people don't always act on their desires, you see. So, while a thief is someone who DOES something, a homosexual is someone who WANTS TO DO something. See the difference?
Of course, I don't have the honor of being lent a dictionary from God's personal library so I must base my understanding of the words on a lowly Webster's Dictionary.
Tell me, does the Lord's Dictionary have a angelic glow? Does it miraculously appear when you need it? What font did Heavenly Publishing, Inc. use?
